The moment
Hundreds of passengers chase the same few seats while the airline works out a plan.
A missed connection, a hotel night, a meeting or the first day of a holiday.
The trip was paid on your card, yet today you have nothing to offer in that moment.
trips a year on your cards hit a 3+ hour delay or a cancellation
of airfare paid on your cards a year
Example: $2B of airfare a year, 4 million bookings at $500 each; 2 in 100 bookings disrupted.
The product

Right after an airline charge on her card, your app sends one push: "Just booked a flight?" You choose which cards and charges get it.

The push opens GetThere's offer page inside your app, in your colours. She forwards her booking email to get a price. There's nothing else to fill in.

She pays about 7% of her fare for the Flight Delay Pass. Your app confirms the purchase with a push, and your share is counted.

Her flight is 3+ hours late. Your app alerts her, and GetThere sends her a card preloaded with 1.5 times her fare on WhatsApp and by email.

She books a new flight on any airline with the card. Your app says thanks, and she remembers which card got her home.
GetThere's side

Within a minute of forwarding her booking, she gets a price for her exact flights, in your colours and from your channel's own address.

She picks Basic and pays by card. Your 20% share of the fee is locked in from that moment.

GetThere sees the delay in live flight data. There's nothing to claim: her card goes out on WhatsApp and by email straight away.

Preloaded with 1.5 times her fare, the card works at any airline or travel site for new flights. She rebooks before the queue at the desk forms.

What's in it for you
20% of every pass, paid monthly. Nothing to fund, nothing to run.
Cardholders get the pass for booking travel on your card, not a competitor's.
A rescue within a minute of the delay, carrying your name.
Your push arrives with the answer while they're still in the airport queue.
Later: let cardholders pay with points, or bundle the pass as a card benefit.
a year for you on $2B of airfare at 5% take-up. Work out your own.
The numbers · assumption-based
your share a year on $2B of airfare ($67.5K per $100M)
passes a year: 5 in 100 of 4 million bookings
to you on every $33.75 pass (20%)
Assumptions, not forecasts: $2B a year of airfare on your cards, 5% take-up, $500 average booking; Basic pass at $33.75 (6.75% of the fare) for a card preloaded with $750 (1.5 times the fare); 2 in 100 bookings get a card. GetThere pays its running costs from its 40%.
Benchmark yourself
Share = airfare × take-up × 6.75% pass price × 20%. Passes assume a $500 average booking; 2 in 100 passes end in a rescue card.
The airline and travel-site spend on your cards in a year.
2% if it's a quiet offer, 10% if it's a premium-card benefit you promote.
Your share depends on total airfare, not the average ticket.
Your risk
Your 20% comes off the fee, so it doesn't move with the delay rate. On $2B of airfare it's $1.35M a year whether 1.5% or 3% of bookings get a card.
All rebooking money comes from GetThere, never from you.
Each flight's track record on that date, weather and airport news.
The work
Your app
GetThere
Offer page in your colours, pricing, checkout, flight watching, rebooking cards and support. Your 20% is paid monthly.
Your developers can see every endpoint for the pushes and the optional purchase check in the API reference.
Risk, legal and privacy
A paid rebooking service. The card buys new flights only and is never paid out as cash. GetThere provides a legal opinion before launch.
Before quoting, GetThere checks the flight exists, the fare is believable, the booking is real and the traveller's history. It checks again before issuing any card.
Cardholders forward their own booking email. You share no transaction data; the optional purchase check returns only yes or no.
GetThere provides its security, data-handling and business-continuity pack up front, including card-data (PCI) compliance.
Getting started
Turn on the four pushes for one premium card. Nothing else to build.
Runs everything, and reports take-up, cardholder feedback and every rescue.
Decide on a full launch, paying with points, or making the pass a card benefit.
